Background: Prince Sviatoslav's seal was found during the landscaping of Kyiv to mark the city's 1500th anniversary. At the same time, one of the Russian archaeologists who took part in these works took the relic to Russia. After his death, the seal appeared on the black market. In 2016, with the participation of historian Oleksandr Alfyorov, former Azov battalion commander Andriy Biletsky and others, the seal was returned to Ukraine via third countries.
