For reference: The Pavlo Virsky Dance Ensemble of Ukraine is a national honored professional dance company based in Kyiv. Its repertoire is based on ancient and modern dances from different regions of Ukraine. The main goal of the ensemble is to collect, study and preserve the national traditions, customs and rituals of the Ukrainian people, and to create dances based on them. The ensemble was founded in June 1937.
