The TV film “Build it strong and high...” is dedicated to the outstanding Ukrainian writer Bohdan Lepky. The film was shot in the Lviv and Ternopil regions.

The film uses fragments from the play “Mazepa” by the Lviv Academic Theater named after Maria Zankovetska.

Reference: Bohdan Lepky (1872—1941) — Ukrainian writer, poet, literary critic and artist, whose work was banned for a long time. Author of historical novels, short stories, poems, literary studies, in particular the cycle about Mazepa and the song "Cranes", which became the anthem of the Sich Riflemen. Actively translated, arranged and edited classical Ukrainian texts, contributing to the popularization of Ukrainian literature. His legacy includes more than 80 of his own books and numerous translations, which had a significant impact on the development of Ukrainian culture.
