Reference: Nina Stoyan is a famous Ukrainian ballerina, laureate of republican and all-Ukrainian competitions of ballet dancers (1978, 1979), awarded the regional prize named after Eduard Bagrytsky (1980) and the medal “For Friendship” in Vietnam (1980). A graduate of the Kyiv Choreographic School (1971) and the International Slavic University (2006), she has performed on the stage of the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater for over 25 years, performing leading roles in over 40 ballets. Among her most striking roles are Kitri in “Don Quixote”, Giselle, Sylphide and Lisa from “Les Premonitions in Vain”. Since 1996 she has been actively engaged in teaching.
