“Frank's Arcana": on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the poet

2006, National Television and Radio Company of Ukraine. The documentary film “The Arcana of Franko” is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the outstanding Ukrainian poet Ivan Franko.

The film tells about the important stages of Ivan Franko's life that significantly influenced his work. In the video: monuments, photographs, exhibits of the Ivan Franko Museum, shots of Lviv, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, paintings by Honored Artist of Ukraine Yevhen Beznisko, the Franko estate, copies of books, memorial plaques, bas-reliefs on buildings, picturesque views of western Ukraine, the Carpathians, rural landscapes.

The film featured lines from Ivan Franko's poetry. A romance to the words of Ivan Franko “Autumn Flower” was performed by Tetiana Fetysova. Archival materials from the Pshenychnyi Central State Film and Photo Archive of Ukraine were used.
