Ukrainian traditions: housewarming

Ternopil Regional State Television and Radio Company, 2004. The program "My Folkloric Ternopil" is dedicated to the Ukrainian folk tradition of entering a new home.

On video: the village of Trostyanets, Ternopil region; various traditions are filmed: consecration of the house, bringing a cat into the house, a laid table, housewarming — gifts from fellow villagers; folk songs performed by the National Folklore and Ritual Ensemble "Zhuravlytsia".
