The TV film "Hilarion Sventsitsky. On the Journey of the Ages" is dedicated to the life and legacy of the Ukrainian scholar-Slavist, founder of the National Museum in Lviv (now the National Museum named after Andrey Sheptytsky) Hilarion Semenovich Sventsitsky.

Reference: Ilarion Sventsitskyi is a Ukrainian philologist, ethnographer, museologist, Doctor of Philological Sciences, full member of the National Museum of Lviv. For almost half a century, he headed the National Museum in Lviv, turning it into a leading scientific and artistic institution. The author of works on linguistics, paleography, art history, bibliography, and philosophy, he was also one of the first professional museologists in Galicia. In conditions of repression and censorship, he courageously defended Ukrainian cultural values, for which he was persecuted by the Soviet authorities.
