The musical film "Deep Well" is dedicated to the People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR Nina Matvienko. Memories and reflections of friends and listeners not only about the singer's creative path, but also about Matvienko's personality as a citizen.

Various folk songs performed by Nina Matvienko and various ensembles sound: "Troyan", "Dudaryk", "Nezamiana Zemlya".

The film starred: Antonina Matvienko, Mytrofan Matvienko, Ivan Gonchar, Petro Gonchar, Valentina Kovalska, Marichka Mykolaychuk, Fedir Stryhun, Roman Didula, Petro Perebyinis, Oleksandr Tkachyk.

Reference: Nina Matvienko is an outstanding Ukrainian singer, actress, Hero of Ukraine, laureate of the Shevchenko Prize. A soloist of the Hryhorii Veryovka Choir, later the Kyiv Camerata ensemble, she combined authentic folklore with academic music. Her repertoire included hundreds of folk songs, and her work also encompassed theater, cinema, and literature, and her voice became a symbol of the Ukrainian spiritual tradition of the second half of the 20th century.
