The film "Sofia's Day" from the series "Knights of the Spirit" is dedicated to the outstanding Ukrainian teacher, founder of national preschool education — Sofia Rusova.

The film shows the unveiling of a memorial sign in her homeland — in the village of Oleshnya, Chernihiv region, where her relatives came from abroad. The current problems of Russification of Ukrainian youth and the importance of the return of national pedagogy are raised. A speech by artist Mykhailo Denysenko is heard, emphasizing the spiritual importance of Sofia Rusova's legacy for modern Ukraine.
