Reference: Vladylen Hrytsyuk is a Ukrainian Soviet singer (bass), People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR, a long-time soloist of the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theater. He received his musical education at the Kyiv Conservatory, was a laureate of the World Youth Festival. His repertoire included iconic parts of Ukrainian and world classics: Taras Bulba, Karas, Mephistopheles, Khovansky. Since 1980 he has taught at the Kyiv Pedagogical Institute named after Drahomanov.
