May 1, 2014. A story about events in different cities of Ukraine.

Donetsk: a pro-russian march with flags of russia and the so-called “dpr”, a rally near the police building.

Sloviansk: a pro-russian rally, people with St. George's ribbons, red flags and flags of pro-russian parties stand on the square near the Lenin monument.

Mykolaiv: pro-Ukrainian procession with flags of Ukraine, participants sing the Ukrainian anthem.

Kirovograd (Kropyvnytskyi): a peaceful demonstration, people are walking with flags of Ukraine and flowers. An orchestra is playing. Commentary by the head of the Federation of Trade Unions of Kirovograd region Sergey Petrov.

Odesa: a pro-russian rally, people are standing on the square with red flags, photo portraits of Stalin and Lenin.

Sevastopol: a procession with red flags and russian flags.

Kharkiv: a peaceful rally, people with posters, police near the regional state administration, social services workers, inscriptions on posters “We are for Kharkiv, we are for Ukraine”. A local resident comments on the situation and the mayor of Kharkiv.
