The documentary film "Heritage" about the protection of monuments of folk architecture in Ukraine. It demonstrates the restoration of monuments of folk culture — old wooden huts in various regions of Ukraine under the leadership of the Ukrainian Society for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture.
The film starred: the Prykhodko family from the village of Bubnivska Sloboda, Cherkasy region, residents of the village of Horodyshche, Chernihiv region V. S. Nazarenko, S. A. Syty, as well as the former caretaker and tour guide of the hut-museum of the village of Moryntsi, Cherkasy region, Ya. P. Kovbasenko.
The poems of Vasyl Symonenko, Oleksiy Tolstoy, Taras Shevchenko are heard.
Reference: The aforementioned "Chumak's House" in the village of Moryntsi, Cherkasy region, is a sample of 19th-century folk architecture, representing a residential structure typical of Chumak life. The museum was founded in 1964 with the aim of preserving and demonstrating traditional rural housing, including authentic furniture, dishes and other everyday items.
