100 days in power: Yushchenko's press conference

Kyiv, 2005. The video shows a press conference of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, reporting on his first 100 days in office. The meeting takes place in the Ukrainian House, with representatives of central and regional media present.

In his opening remarks, Yushchenko recalls the events of the Orange Revolution and criticizes the actions of the previous government, which he calls “criminal.”

He then answers questions, including: the problems of the Black Sea Fleet; the return of state-owned enterprises that were privatized in violation of the law; joining the European Union; his conversation with Renat Akhmetov; the opposition; the development of light industry and the revival of the countryside.
