The film "Tysa Battalion" is dedicated to the engineering unit created to prevent and respond quickly to flood threats, within the framework of the State Program for Reforming the Border Troops of Ukraine.

In the video: the Carpathians, rivers, various plans; the consequences of floods, destroyed bridges, flooded villages and cities; newspaper clippings with disasters; the city of Vynohradiv in the Transcarpathian region - the location of the "Tysa" battalion; footage of disaster relief, military personnel helping local residents, various plans; military training, the border of Ukraine, the work of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine; a visit by an American delegation from California headed by US Army Captain Christopher Godley, a fragment of an interview.

Reference: The International Engineering Battalion "Tysa" is a joint Ukrainian-Romanian-Hungarian-Slovak unit created in 2002 for rapid response to floods and liquidation of consequences natural disasters in the Carpathian region. The main tasks include the evacuation of the population, the restoration of infrastructure and the provision of life in the affected areas. The Ukrainian units of the battalion are part of the 534th Engineer-Sapper Battalion of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade.
