Festival of Ukrainian heroic songs

2008, National Television Company of Ukraine. Festival of Ukrainian heroic songs “Young Guard”.

The video shows screensavers, people in costumes, an exhibition of historical documents and photographs and military costumes from the 20s to the 50s, an officer's ball, and a concert.

The festival was attended by: Serhiy Solonin and the Star Corsair band; Mandry band; Taras Silenko (accompanied by bandura); Taras Chubai (accompanied by guitar); Maria Burmaka; Eduard Drach; and the Congo Maidan Dance band; Svyatoslav Silenko (accompanied by bandura); Tartak and Andriy Pidluzhny; Khoreya Kozatska (accompanied by ancient folk instruments); and VV (premiere of a rifle song).
