Kosmach Village: Traditions and Crafts

The film "Kosmach" tells about the history and everyday life of the village of Kosmach, Kosiv district, Ivano-Frankivsk region, introduces its unique culture and traditions.

In the video: young girls and boys on horses, singing songs; a man tells about the history of the village's foundation, the legend about the name; traditional clothes, different angles; a woman cooks food and sings songs, a family photo archive; local residents tell about the archaeological finds of the village, show the found exhibits; crafts of the village of Kosmach, a conversation with craftsmen; a monument to Oleksiy Dovbush, residents tell legends; the tradition of kilipovletnya; worship, baptism of a child in the local church; wedding and other local traditions.

The film starred villagers, including: Paraska Bahriychuk, Dmytro Bobyak, Mykhailo Didyshyn, Father Vasyl Hunchak, Ignatiy Pozhodzhuk.
