Radio program “The Art of Living”: Petro Boyko

Reference: Petro Boyko is a Ukrainian radio announcer, priest, and Honored Artist of Ukraine. In 1952, he entered the Geological Faculty of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. After his first year, he won the competition for the Ukrainian Radio announcer and started working there on August 1, 1953.

In 1990, he was recognized as the best announcer of the year and awarded a special diploma. On August 23, 1990, Bishop Vasyl Romaniuk ordained him a deacon. In October 1991, Father Peter left for Canada, where he studied at St. Andrew's College and served as a priest in various parishes of the Ukrainian diaspora. In 2003, he returned to Kyiv and served in the Church of the Nativity in Podil. He also served in the Church of St. John the Baptist in the village of Shevchenkove, Cherkasy region, and worked for Ukrainian Radio.

He was recognized as the standard voice of Ukraine.
