Description: Mykola Buchko is a Ukrainian poet. He was born on August 19, 1948 in Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Faculty of Philology at the University of Chernivtsi. He worked as a journalist and editor of the Chernivtsi publishing house Misto. He was also engaged in publishing. He began his literary career in the 1960s. He is the author of the collections of poems “Sunrise”, “Towards the Summer”, “After the Ten Commandments or Poems for a Son”. A number of his poems were set to music.
Mykola Buchko died on June 2, 2017 in Chernivtsi.
