Meeting of Paralympic athletes

September 2008. Meeting at the airport of athletes returning from the Paralympic Games in Beijing. The video shows the red carpet, the athletes' families, and the Paralympians getting off the plane. There are interviews with Hryhoriy and Natalia Kalyna, parents of champion Andriy Kalyna, and his interview, as well as with Yulia Tymoshenko, Prime Minister of Ukraine, and Yuriy Pavlenko, Minister of Youth and Sports.

The XIII Summer Paralympic Games were held in Beijing in September 2008. Ukraine took the fourth place in the overall team, winning 74 medals, including: 24 gold, 18 silver and 32 bronze. The national team was represented by 124 athletes in 11 sports.
