Reference: Olbia was an ancient Greek city-state that existed on the territory of modern Ukraine, namely on the right bank of the Bug Estuary, near the modern village of Parutyne, Mykolaiv region. Now, the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve “Olbia” is located on the site of the former city.
