The Fatal Woman by Marko Vovchok

2008, National Television Company of Ukraine. The programme ‘The Fatal Woman Marko Vovchok’ is dedicated to the writer's difficult life and creative path and her relationships with men (Opanas Markovich, Mykola Kulish, Ivan Turgenev, Dmitry Pisarev, Ivan Pasik).

The video features: opening credits, People's Artist of Ukraine Natalia Sumska in the role of Marko Vovchok (reading excerpts from letters and works), archival photographs, a monument to the writer in Nemirov, Nemirov Palace, the Motronivka farmstead, the former home of Mykola Verbytsky, and the Kachanivka Reserve.
