Donetsk Botanical Garden

Reference: Donetsk Botanical Garden is a scientific research institution of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, founded on June 25, 1964 in the eastern part of Donetsk. The area of the garden is 262.2 hectares, which is the largest among botanical gardens in Europe as of 2014. The collections include over 5,500 species of plants, including rare ones and those listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.
