"Autograph" program: Leopold von Masoch

Lviv Television. The February 22, 2000 issue of the "Autograph" program is dedicated to the biography and work of Leopold von Masoch.

A conversation about the image of a Galician woman in the work of Leopold von Masoch, German-language publications and Ukrainian translation, the term "masochism".

The guests of the program are the translator of the Ukrainian edition of "Selected Works" by Leopold von Masoch, Natalia Ivanychuk, and literary critic Larisa Tsebenko.

Reference: Leopold Ritter von Sacher-Masoch is a Ukrainian-Austrian writer, author of historical and artistic works. In scientific and cultural discourse, he is considered a literary representative of the phenomenon later defined by the term "masochism". In a significant part of his creative output, he reproduced the social, everyday and ethnographic realities of Galicia, in particular the language, customs and folklore of Ukrainians.
