Reference: Svitlana Gorlova was born on August 15, 1935. She graduated from the Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv Institute of Theater Arts. Since 1960, she has worked at Ukrainian Radio. Initially, she was an announcer, then a forewoman of the announcer group, and later the head of the group of presenters.
She was the host of the program “Music Without Words” and the radio magazines “Monuments of Ukraine,” “Word,” and others. In 2014, together with Oleksandr Avramenko, she narrated the All-Ukrainian Dictation of National Unity.
