Reference: On March 14, 2022, in the village of Mokhnatyn near Chernihiv, Russian soldiers shot three local teenagers — 17-year-old twin brothers Yevhen and Bohdan Samodiy and their 18-year-old friend Valentyn Yakymchuk. According to Serhiy Vasylyna, then head of the Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, a convoy of Russian military equipment was passing through Mokhnatyn: seven fuel trucks and three KamAZ trucks with ammunition, accompanied by an infantry fighting vehicle. Local residents were walking by when they were shot from the infantry fighting vehicle.
