Hunger strike of victims of the Elite Center scam

Video shows a protest in the form of a hunger strike outside the presidential administration for the defrauded depositors of the construction company "Elita-Center". Bankova Street, depositors with flags and banners, tents, security, participants of the action with a loudspeaker.

Reference: "Elita-Center" is a large-scale construction scam that was revealed in 2006, as a result of which about 1,700 families were left without housing and invested money. The company, headed by Oleksandr Volkonsky, sold the same apartments to several investors, and also collected funds for the construction of facilities that did not have the appropriate permits. The total amount of losses from this fraudulent scheme is estimated at tens of millions of dollars.
