Reference: The All-Ukrainian Pilgrimage to Zarvanytsia is the largest annual pilgrimage of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church and Orthodox Christians to the Marian Spiritual Center in the village of Zarvanytsia, Ternopil region. The shrine acquired a holiday significance in 1867 after the coronation of the miraculous icon of the Mother of God of Zarvanytsia by Pope Pius IX.
