The TV film "Bayanist from Hradyzk" is dedicated to the famous Ukrainian cultural figure, composer Oleksandr Bilash.

On the video: archival footage of the city, telling the biography of the musician; memories of his wife; archival footage of Larisa Ostapenko's vocals; family photo archive; performance of the song "Vpali rosy na koposi"; newspaper periodicals with articles dedicated to the composer; performance by the "Yavir" quartet of the song to the music of O. Bilash "Smereka"; various archival recordings; colleagues share memories.

Reference: Oleksandr Bilash is a Ukrainian composer, People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Ukraine, laureate of the Shevchenko Prize. Author of over 500 songs, romances, operas, music for theatrical productions and films, including "Dream", "Roman and Francesca", "Dangerous Tours". The most famous songs are "Two Colors", "Ashes", "Snow on a Green Leaf". Bilash's work is based on the Ukrainian song tradition.
