‘The Chosen Ones of the Muses’: Bohdan Stashkiv, Part 1

2001, National Television Company of Ukraine. The first part of the music programme from the series ‘Chosen Ones of Music’ is dedicated to the Honoured Artist of Ukraine, Bohdan Stashkiv.

The video features: opening credits, an interview with the artist about his repertoire, his small homeland, the Galician region; performances of songs in various locations, the monument to Roksolana in the city of Rohatyn, the monument to Danylo Halytskyi in Halych.

Songs played: ‘There is a Green Kalina,’ ‘Bless,’ ‘Ballad of Rohatyn,’ ‘Galicia.’
