Reference: The gas explosion in a residential building in Dnipro was a man-made disaster on October 13, 2007 at 127 Mandrykivska Street, which resulted in the death of 23 people, 20 more were injured, and the entrance of a 10-story building on the Peremoga-1 estate was completely destroyed. The cause of the tragedy was found to be a malfunction of the gas distribution point and negligence of the Dniprogaz enterprise, whose managers were later arrested.

"Hope" program: help for orphans

The program is devoted to education issues. The authors and participants of the program seek answers to the questions of why children do not want to go to school and why the learning process is uninteresting. Valentina Shulz, director of the city's educational complex, emphasizes the importance of developing a child's imagination and creative skills so that the child perceives the teacher as equal to the parents. Svitlana Makarova, a kindergarten teacher from Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro), talks about the peculiarities of raising and teaching children using Waldorf pedagogy methods.

The programme is about the founding and activities of the Holy Protection Convent and skete with an auxiliary farm in the village of Krasna Balka. Abbess Anastasia talks about how they cleaned up the area, converted the premises of a neglected kindergarten for the needs of the monastery, and about the homeless people who helped with the renovation work. She also touches on issues of spiritual life, the need for inner fear of God, and talks about the temple icon.

Celebration of the day of the holy martyrs Vera, Nadezhda and Lyubov in the village of Nadezhdivka. An exhibition of folk art, autumn fruits, photographs and a stand entitled ‘Our little children's dream’ are displayed on the street. On the square in front of the village council, residents of the village are presented with certificates, and a festive concert is held. Day of Slavic Writing and Culture

The video shows the raider seizure of the city's central market, Ozerka. At night, the offenders attempt to cut through the metal gates with a grinder, while Berkut special forces repel the attack, using flashbang grenades and detaining the attackers.

Reference: On 30 October 2006, an attempt was made to seize the central market ‘Ozerka’ in Dnipro by force — about two hundred armed people broke into the territory, using explosive packages and reinforcement bars. Law enforcement officers and market security guards were injured in the clash, and more than 90 attackers were detained. According to participants, the attack was organised by criminal authority ‘Netrik’ (Oleg Netrepko) together with regional council deputy from the Vitrenko faction, Oleksiy Kesarytskyi.
