A programme about the 32nd festival ‘Vyshnevi usmishky’ . In the courtyard of the Ostap Vyshnia Literary and Memorial Museum, the Slobozhans folk ensemble performs, and theatrical productions of humorous sketches are performed by Mykhailo Porfilov, Oleksandr Taraban and Oleksandra Taraban, Yurii Kryvokolysko, Tetiana Sokil, Valentina Golchenko, and Tamara Hrabar, the children's ensemble ‘Makovky’ sings, and the adult ensemble performs ‘Song about Hrun’ – the village's calling card.

"Grass-Ant": Black Elder

Sumy TV. The August 21, 2010 issue of the program "Treasury" is dedicated to the history of the family burial of the Kharytonenko family.

On the video: Central Sumy cemetery, various plans; archival photographs of Sumy from the 19th century, the history of the Kharytonenko family; creation of the monument "Angel with a Girl and the Crucified Christ".

Reference: the Kharytonenko family burial in Sumy is a significant monument of memorial art of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. The sculptural compositions of the tomb are made of white Italian marble by the French sculptor Aristide Croisy. The most famous work of the complex is the monument "Angel with a Child", purchased at the World Industrial Exhibition in Paris in 1900. The composition is distinguished by a high level of plasticity, realism of forms and is a unique example of European sculptural art in Ukraine.

Sumy Television. The October 9, 2010 issue of the program "Skarbnytsia" is dedicated to the Children's Park "Fairy Tale".

On the video: archival photos and videos of the new Children's Park "Fairy Tale", a fortress, a lake, sculptures of fairy-tale characters, Puss in Boots, a fountain, a sailboat, attractions, the grand opening of the park in May 1985; footage of the rebuilt park in 2003.

The video features: opening credits, shots of the village, the Psel River, footage from a quadcopter, stories of the village residents, archaeologist Vitaliy Gordienko walking through the forest with a metal detector, finds, the Myropillia Museum, exhibits and archival photographs, local resident Lyudmila Karpenko weaving brooms, a horse farm, farm owner Andriy Yevtushenko showing the farm, former village resident Vitaliy Denisenko talking and singing with his friend.

The plot is dedicated to the Day of Remembrance and Victory over Nazism in World War II and the unveiling of memorials in honor of those who died in the war in the Sumy region.
