The travelogue film "Frescos of Sumy Region" is dedicated to the Sumy region. It tells about the industry and everyday life of the region.

In the video: landscapes of the Sumy region, panoramas of cities; a plot about the industry of the Sumy region; harvest, farmers at work; a ceremony to award military personnel, a conversation with veterans of World War II; sports competitions.

The film is dubbed in russian languages. Contains elements of Soviet propaganda.

Elections 2004: a chronicle of the week's events

The video shows the village, private houses, local residents; a portrait of the famous Italian architect Giacomo Quarenghi, the author of two identical palaces in Khotyn and Tsarske Selo (Russia); an archival photo of Count Camburlei's estate; a school, a Viennese ball for students in the school yard, a local history museum, exhibits; the remains of the former estate. Interview: Mykola Lytvyn is the head of the Khotyn Local History Museum. He tells about the history of the village, the settlement of Cossacks since 1689, the development of crafts and industry, the family of Count Camburlei, the construction and destruction of the estate in Khotyn.

For reference: Khotyn is a village in Sumy region. It is located 20 kilometers north of Sumy, on the front line. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, it has been under constant enemy fire. However, local residents continue to be evacuated from there. Some of the villages that are part of the Khotyn community are occupied.

Reference: Hlukhiv is a town in Sumy region, in the border area with Russia. Between February 24 and the end of March 2022, Hlukhiv and the north of Sumy region were surrounded by Russian troops, practically in complete isolation. The state border itself was open, and enemy vehicles were moving along the highway from there. It was almost impossible to provide the population with food and medicine.

With the liberation of Sumy region in early April 2022, the situation gradually stabilized, but the Hlukhiv community is constantly under enemy fire.

A mandatory evacuation has been announced, but some of the locals remain. The enterprise in the video was often shelled, so it relocated to a safer place.
