2007, Sumy Regional State Television and Radio Company. A programme from the series ‘Fellow Countrymen’ dedicated to the futurist artist David Burliuk.

The video features: opening credits, a mini-museum of the artist, landscapes of the village of Ryabushky and Lebedynshchyna, museum exhibits, a reproduction of the painting ‘Rainy Morning,’ the Semyrotivka farmstead (removed from the register in the 1990s, now the Burliuk tract), the artist's granddaughter takes a clod of earth from her grandfather's homeland as a souvenir.

Reference: Viktor and Halyna Mykhailychenko are a married couple of Ukrainian artists who have made a significant contribution to the development of scenography, decorative and applied arts and easel art in Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Viktor Mykhailychenko is a theater artist, laureate of the Hamza State Prize of Uzbekistan, the author of the design of over 60 performances and numerous paintings. Halyna Mykhailychenko is known for her tapestries with motifs of nature and mythology, and is a participant in all-Ukrainian and international exhibitions. Their works are kept in leading museum and private collections in Ukraine and the world.

Reference: Trostyanets is known as a historical Slobozhansk manor town with an ensemble of monuments of the 18th–19th centuries (in particular, the Round Yard and park complexes) and as an important railway junction with the Trostyanets-Smorodyne station. The food industry stands out in the city's modern economy, primarily the Trostyanets Chocolate Factory "Ukraine". Reference: Mykhailivka is a village on the Psel River, founded in 1675, known for the participation of residents in anti-tax and anti-grain procurement protests in 1932 and significant human losses during the Holodomor of 1932–1933. In the modern period, Mykhailivka is distinguished by its preserved natural and cultural landscape (Petrovsky and Cossack oaks, Poltava tier), a monument to the Mazepa people, and local gastronomic tradition. The preparation of borscht in the Lebedyn region is included in the list of elements of the intangible cultural heritage of the Sumy region.

Reference: Oleksiy Berest is a Ukrainian soldier of the Red Army, a direct participant in the installation of the "Victory Banner" over the Reichstag on April 30, 1945, whose role was recorded in military documents, but deliberately marginalized by Soviet official historiography. In modern Ukraine, he is recognized as a Hero of Ukraine (2005, posthumously) as a participant in World War II and a symbol of the unjust exclusion of Ukrainians from the Soviet heroic narrative. The awarding of the title of Hero of the russian federation to him in 2025 is considered by Ukrainian researchers as an element of modern Russian memorial and propaganda policy aimed at the retrospective appropriation of figures of Ukrainian origin within the framework of imperial discourse.

Reference: Palitsyn (Popivka) Academy is a cultural and educational circle formed at the end of the 18th century in the estate of Oleksandr Palitsyn in Sumy region as a medium for intellectual and artistic communication of the local and visiting elite. The circle united poets, translators, architects and educators and functioned as a center for discussing literary, scientific and social issues, as well as an informal educational institution for children of nobles. The circle's activities contributed to the formation of a regional intellectual environment, in particular to initiatives to establish Kharkiv University. In the second half of the 20th and early 21st centuries, the revival of research into the history of the academy was carried out by Mykhailo Teslya, who formed a documentary base and initiated the modern Palitsyn Academy as a public cultural and artistic organization.
