Ivan Kupala holiday in Sumy Oblast, 2006

July 6, 2006. Sumy Regional State Television and Radio Company. The program "Poetry of Summer, Hymn to Nature" tells about the celebration of Ivan Kupala in Nedryhailiv, Sumy Oblast. The material shows sports and cultural events, the opening of a local history museum, a meeting of representatives of compatriots, the celebration of the best compatriots and festive events on the banks of the Sula River.

Round table meeting with the participation of representatives of compatriots from different cities, recognition of the best compatriots of Nedryhail region with certificates and gifts. Ceremonial opening of the holiday, performances by local amateurs, famous compatriots and invited guests, performance by Svitlana and Vitaly Bilonozhki. Cossack huts, cooking on an open fire, a festive table, a theatrical performance "Fair chat". Spectators and participants of the holiday, folk rite "Kupala Night", bonfire. The girls let wreaths into the Sulu River.
