Reference: In 2005, the 30th separate guards mechanized brigade of Novograd-Volynsk was part of the Eighth Army Corps, being part of the Joint Rapid Reaction Forces. In the same year, the brigade became the base for an experiment in contract manning and demonstrated a high level of training at the "Reaction-2005" training ground at the Zhytomyr training ground, taking first place among the corps' formations. After the changes, the brigade was named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozky (2018) and is now part of the Operational Command "North".
