Reference: Mykola Hlushchenko is a Ukrainian painter, People's Artist of the USSR (1976), one of the leading masters of Ukrainian impressionism. He was educated in Berlin, worked in Paris under the influence of the French impressionists. After 1944, he lived in Kyiv, created numerous landscapes and portraits, his works are kept in museums in Ukraine and the world.
