70th anniversary of television director Vasyl Selezinka

Reference: Vasyl Mykhailovych Selezinka (1933-2017) was a Ukrainian actor, writer, journalist, theatre and television director, theatre critic, musician, teacher and local historian from Bukovina. He was born on 14 October 1933 in the village of Ispas Gorishniy in the Kolomyia region, graduated from the acting faculty of the Karpenko-Karyi Kyiv Theatre Institute and the journalism faculty in Lviv.

His works include a series of television programmes entitled ‘The City of My Love’ about Chernivtsi, participation in artistic projects, and nearly a thousand printed articles, reviews, and literary works. He is an Honoured Artist of Ukraine.
