The issue of the cycle program "Oranta" is dedicated to the history of the Krekhiv Monastery of St. Nicholas (the village of Krekhiv in the Lviv region).

The video: landscapes of the Lviv region, tells about the founding of the monastery, various plans of the exterior of the monastery complex, interior decoration, liturgy, miraculous icons of the Virgin Mary and St. Nicholas the Great.

The program uses materials from the research of art historian Volodymyr Vuytsyk.

Reference: The Krekhiv Monastery of St. Nicholas of the Basilian Fathers is one of the most prominent monuments of sacred architecture in Galicia of the 17th–18th centuries, founded in 1612 by monks of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra. Since 1721, it has been operating as a Basilian Greek Catholic monastery, known for its fortification architecture, miraculous icons and valuable monastery book collection. The complex is an architectural monument of national importance and an important spiritual center of the UGCC.
