Reference: Dmytro Hnatiuk is a Ukrainian opera singer (baritone), director and teacher, one of the most prominent representatives of vocal art of the 20th century. Soloist of the Kyiv Opera and Ballet Theater since 1951, People's Artist of the USSR, Hero of Ukraine, the first performer of the songs "Two Colors", "The Towel Song" and "My Kyiv". As a director, he staged more than twenty opera performances and for many years led directorial and pedagogical activities in the leading musical institutions of Ukraine.
