The documentary television film "Danube, Danube" is dedicated to the history and ecology of the second longest river in Europe.

On the video: environmental scientists, historians and local residents share their thoughts on the problems of the Danube Region (Bessarabia); views of the "Danube Plains" state reserve, Lake Kugurluy; landscapes of the Reniysky, Izmailsky and Kiliyasky (now part of Izmailsky) districts of Odessa region; archaeological excavations in Odessa region; scientists take water samples from the river and determine the level of its pollution, talk about the ecological problems of the Danube; fish catch by employees of a fish farm in the city of Vylkove; performance of a folklore group from the village of Shevchenkove, Kiliyasky district of Odessa region.
