Reference: The Mezhrichynskyi Regional Landscape Park is located in the interfluve of the Dnieper and Desna rivers in the southwestern part of Chernihiv region and covers 102,472.95 hectares, making it the largest regional landscape park in Ukraine, established in 2002. The park is known for its high conservation value of wetland and forest ecosystems and habitats of rare species of flora and fauna listed in the Red Book of Ukraine and international conservation lists, in particular the floodplain complexes of the Desna and Dnieper rivers.
