Party of Regions rally at Eurovision

The video shows a rally organized by the Party of Regions and the Social Democratic Party of Ukraine near the Palace of Sports, where the opening of the international song contest "Eurovision-2005" was taking place. Protesters with flags and banners near the Palace of Sports, Party of Regions leaflets, police and BARS with a loudspeaker, participants painted in blue and white, protesters shout: "We want Eurovision", "Yushchenko gone!", "No to repression, yes to democracy", "Yushchenko is a disgrace", "Yanukovych is our president", people with flags of the European Union and flags of the Pora party, spectators gather for the opening of "Eurovision-2005".

Reference: On May 19, 2005, a rally organized by the Party of Regions and the Social Democratic Party of Ukraine was held in Kyiv. At it, Party of Regions leader Viktor Yanukovych and supporters demanded that the international community pay attention to what they claimed were "political repressions" and used the international song contest "Eurovision-2005" to attract the attention of foreign journalists.
