Reference: Volodymyr Konashevich is a Soviet graphic artist, one of the leading masters of book illustration of the 20th century, the author of illustrations for the works of Samuil Marshak, Korney Chukovsky and other writers. In 1897–1908 he lived in Chernihiv, where he received his primary education and developed an interest in drawing, which influenced the further development of his creative activity in the field of easel and book graphics.
