Old-timers of the village of Khomutets

The TV film "Big Khomutets" is dedicated to the history and present of the village of Khomutets in the Poltava region, raises the problems of life of peasants in the region.

In the video: old-timers of the village talk about their families, life in the village, the functioning of the collective farm, the period of "stagnation", about the churches that were destroyed by the Soviet government.

Reference: Khomutets is a village in the Poltava region, located on the Khorol and Khomutets rivers, 14 km from Myrhorod. Founded in the 16th century, in the 17th-18th centuries it belonged to the Apostol family and was the center of the Second Myrhorod Hundred of the Myrhorod Regiment; the palace and park complex of the Muravyov-Apostols and monuments of cult architecture of the 18th-19th centuries have been preserved on the territory of the village, the village is included in the list historical settlements of Ukraine.
