"Pecherska is the 39th station of the Kyiv subway. It was built simultaneously with the next two stations (Druzhby Narodiv and Vydubychi), but due to difficult geological conditions, the construction of the station was frozen in the late 1980s and it was put into operation only in 1997, 6 years later than planned.
