Reference: Mstyslav (Stepan Skrypnyk) is a Ukrainian church and political figure, a horn player of the UNR Army. He combined military service, community service, and church service, becoming one of the key figures of Ukrainian Orthodoxy in exile. As Patriarch of the Ukrainian Autocephalous Orthodox Church, he led its revival at the end of the 20th century and consistently defended the autocephalous status of the Ukrainian Church.
