In the video: production and exhibition of blown glass items in Lviv, examples of products: chandeliers, bottles, glasses, vases, souvenirs, workers blowing glass; the Second Plenum of Ukrainian Writers, plenum participants, speakers’ addresses, Soviet symbols, audience members in the hall, conversations in the lobby; takeoff of an AN-10 aircraft from Lviv Airport in November 1959 and arrival at Moscow Airport, AN-10 at the airport, passengers approaching the boarding ramp, view from the window, flight attendant serving coffee, pilot, passengers in the cabin; the historical program “Chronicle of My Hometown”—a historical program featuring views of Lviv, Freedom Avenue, Market Square, Korniakt Tower, and the Dominican Cathedral.
Note: The AN-10 is an airliner designed under the leadership of Oleg Antonov; since the start of its operation, it has been involved in multiple plane crashes. The first loss of an AN-10 since it entered service occurred in November 1959 on the outskirts of Lviv.
