The plot is dedicated to the funeral of the commander-in-chief of the UPA Vasyl Kuk.

Reference: Vasyl Kuk is a Ukrainian military figure, one of the leaders of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists, commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army in 1950–1954 after the death of Roman Shukhevych. He held the rank of General-Coroner and headed the General Secretariat of the Ukrainian Main Liberation Council. In 1954 he was arrested by the Soviet state security agencies and was imprisoned until 1960.
