The documentary film "The Bird of the Ukrainian Nativity Scene" is dedicated to puppetry and the "living" traditions of folk Ukrainian nativity scenes for the holiday of Christmas.

On the video: demonstration of one of the oldest puppet nativity scenes; traditions of nativity scenes in Lviv region, action, singing in houses, performance on stage.

The film starred Volodymyr Shagala, Yevheniya Skyhar and other residents of the Sambir and Starosambir districts of Lviv region.
