Reference: Maria Prymachenko (also Prymachenko) is a Ukrainian artist, a representative of "naive art". She was born on January 12, 1909 in the village of Bolotnya, Kyiv Region. She created over 800 works with fantastic animals, flowers and folk motifs, including "The Blue Bull" and "The Lion with a Tail in Flowers". Her work is recognized as a UNESCO cultural heritage.
