“A Figure and His Era”: Ivan Vyhovsky

In the video: Lviv Art Gallery, an art exhibition dedicated to the anniversary of Hetman Ivan Vyhovsky’s death and the victory at the Battle of Konotop; Honored Artist of Ukraine Boris Oliinyk, dressed in military uniform, playing Cossack kettledrums; the sound of Cossack kettledrums, the exhibition dedicated to Ivan Vyhovsky, personal belongings of Bohdan Khmelnytsky, paintings from Pidhirtsi Castle, an exhibition on the history of the Zaporizhzhia Sich, exhibits, the sword of Petro Konashevych-Sahaidachny, a 13th–14th-century icon of Paraskeva Pyatnitsa, the icon “The Transfer of the Relics of Nicholas of Myra,” portraits of hetmans, battle paintings, and a painted ladle from 1877.
