
“Sprouts of Hope”: A Concert Featuring Young Talents from Lutsk, 1996

1996. Volyn Television. The program “Sprouts of Hope” covers the final concert of the citywide talent competition for students in Lutsk.
The video features performances by students and artistic groups from city schools, including vocal, dance, and musical numbers. The “Dzhereltsia” ensemble from Specialized Secondary School No. 25 performs “Hutsul Dance,” and the choir from Specialized Secondary School No. 16 sings “Good Day, to You, Good People,” and the vocal duet of Oleksandr Onyskovets and Anna Hordiychuk from Specialized General Education School No. 21 performs “Trumpets Behind the Mountain.” The dance group from Gymnasium No. 4 presents the Italian folk dance “Tarantella,” and Yulia Tarasyuk from Specialized Secondary School No. 10 sings “Plant the Kalina.” The concert continues with the orchestra of the “Dyvotsvit” folk ensemble from Gymnasium No. 14, performing a medley of folk melodies; the “Romantic” dance troupe from Gymnasium No. 18, performing “Vesele Rendezvous”; Victoria Zhukovska from Specialized Secondary School No. 5, and the show group from the dance studio of Specialized Secondary School No. 26 with the stage dance “The Vagabond.” Rounding out the list of performances is a vocal group of second-grade students from Specialized General Education School No. 22 with the song “Fluffy Sunflowers.”
